What steps does a foreigner take to buy property in Spain?
Find the property, get an NIE (foreigner identification number), open a Spanish bank account, sign a reservation agreement, sign the purchase deed at the notary, and pay the taxes and fees. We guide you through each step, remotely if needed.
What costs come on top of the price?
The transfer tax on resale homes (or VAT on new builds) — usually about 10% of the price — plus notary and registry fees, which typically start from €1,000.
Can a non-resident get a mortgage in Spain?
Yes. Banks usually lend up to 70% of the value to non-residents; the rate and terms depend on your profile and the bank. We help prepare the application.
Can I rent out my property while I live abroad?
Yes. We manage the property turnkey: tourist licence, guests or long-term tenants, cleaning, repairs and payments — you do not need to be in Spain.
